New for 2026, “Shake Your Moneymaker” by Smitty and the Jump

Following up on the success of their 2025 single “New Orleans”, Smitty and the JumpStarters have a new release for Spring 2026. One of the trademarks of Smitty and the JumpStarters is their love of taking older songs, putting their own spin on them and reintroducing them to audiences both old and new. That is the case for the newest JumpStarters single “Shake Your Moneymaker”.

The song, released in 1961, was written and made famous by blues great, Elmore James.

The song was released through Green Dot records in Mid April 2024.
